This is the toughest part - to write about myself, but I'll do my best.
I am addicted to photography. It’s my passion, the source of my visions and ideas, it’s changing my life. The main reason I travel.
Goethe’s quote “If to the moment I should say – abide, you are so fair” describes my photography the best. I am always thrilled when I know I captured something, and anxiously waiting till I load them into the computer when I go back home. I like to go back to photos I took years ago, and look for some ideas, inspiration.
I switched completely to digital – I feel I have more freedom, more control from pressing the shutter button to the final print. It lets me recreate the scene like I saw it, what I felt, what I remember. Canon 5D and Epson UltraChrome K3 inkjet printers are the main tools with Photoshop in the middle. Depending on the subject, some photos are barely touched, some heavily post processed to accomplish what I have in mind.
As you can see, I don't specialize in just one type of photography, just like in life, I'm not afraid of trying new things. Some of my photos were awarded an Honorable mention at 2007 International Photography Awards competition. The photo "Thoughtful" was published in "Photos that inspire" published by Wiley. Currently I am working on infrared and underwater photography.
I hope you enjoy my work - feel free to send me an email with comments or questions.
